What is the difference between UCAS Extra and Clearing?

Applicants with pending grades can apply to us through UCAS Extra but cannot apply to us through Clearing.

UCAS Extra is open from the 26^th of February 2026 until the 1^st of July 2026

Clearing is open from the 2^nd of July 2026 until the 19^th of October 2026 – however, please note that if a university fills its places, they may close their Clearing routes at any time.
